Weddings can be stressful! Be sure you know how to calm your nerves on your big day

Your wedding day will be a rollercoaster of emotions. You will feel sentimental, loved, overwhelmed and genuinely happy – but, when things are pressuring you, stress and anxiety may also crawl into your Big Day. Don’t let them rule over the amazing positive feelings you’re experiencing, though! Keep stress at bay with these tips:

  • Sneak out with your loved one. Considering this is the person you have chosen to marry with and with whom you are going to spend your life, it makes a lot of sense that you would lean on each other when wedding day stress takes over. Sneak out with your loved one to remind yourself how far you’ve come. Remind yourself that the main reason behind the entire event is to celebrate your love and commitment!
  • Make sure you are hydrated and fed. Yes, your wedding day will be a bit chaotic – but please make sure to eat and drink water. Also, remember that having one or two drinks is perfectly fine, especially if it helps you calm your nerves. However, getting completely tipsy on your wedding day may not be a good idea, as this will make you will miss out on so many magical moments!
  • Be prepared for everything (or, at least, almost everything). It may not be very pleasant to think of the worst-case scenarios, but doing so (and knowing what to do in case they arise) will keep things less stressful on the Big Day – precisely because you will be prepared with a plan to face everything that might interfere with your happiness.
